Friday Night Finale
MAY HIGHLIGHTS
A brief explanation is needed for the
antics that took place at Sandyland
on Friday night. Here goes: It seems
that the Blake Brothers Bluegrass
Band got to rub elbows with one of
the best in the business: Doyle
Lawson and Quicksilver at a recent
concert in Longview, Texas. This
gave Cowboy ammunition for his
scheme. Wanted posters went up all
over the park in search of person or
persons  involved in a crime (see
wanted poster below). The one
mistake  made was  letting another
"Louisiana Boy" (Tim Pulley of Mill
Creek) in on the plan. The following
actions were classic Sandyland
humor with someone FINALLY
getting one up on Cowboy!!
Texas Rangers played by
Cowboy
Barrett, Justin Herzoz, and
"Rough" Herzog storm the
stage to begin the
investigation of the possible
suspects
First piece of evidence;
a Doyle Lawson
look-a-like  hat
More  evidence found. A pair of
Doyle Lawson style boots.

The suspects voe not to be taken alive
The arrest is foiled when
an exact replica of the 3rd
piece of evidence was found
in the belongings of the
Texas Ranger
Captain!!....Hmmmm

Seems that Tim Pulley
passed along a picture of
the original jacket to John
and Velda Neilson. Velda
in turn replicated an exact
copy (that is after John
visited every Goodwill in
Louisiana to find a green
jacket!!)
the look on Cowboy's face
CLASSIC!!
Master
mind,
John
Neilson
watches
over
"Large
Doyle"
and "Little
Doyle"

A
True
genius!!!
"Large Doyle" brings out his band that includes an accordion, a snare drum, and
washboards!! (known to be Britt "Little Doyle" Green's favorite instruments)
"Little Doyle" thinks
"Large Doyle's"
performance was
much to be desired.
Only at Sandyland...good, clean fun!!
Nothing rehearsed, always a good time.
This skit was done with the up most respect and honor for Mr. Doyle
Lawson and his band Quicksilver as well as the Texas Rangers
